Returns & Refunds
Return window (UK & EU)
- Change-of-mind: you can cancel within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order. After you tell us you’re cancelling, you have 14 days to send the item back.
- Faulty/damaged (UK): you have a 30-day right to a full refund (“short-term right to reject”). After 30 days (and within 6 months), we’ll repair or replace first.
How to cancel or start a return
- Email info@studioknots.co.uk with your order number and whether it’s a change-of-mind or faulty/damaged return.
- We’ll reply with a Return Authorisation (RMA) and the correct return address.
- Pack items securely (see “Condition & packaging”). Use a tracked service and keep the receipt.
Condition & packaging (change-of-mind)
- Items should be unused and in their original packaging with all components included.
- You may handle items to check them as you would in a shop. If used beyond that, we may deduct for diminished value from your refund.
Note: These condition requirements do not apply to faulty items—you can open packaging to discover a fault.
Refunds, delivery & return postage
- Change-of-mind: you pay the return postage. We refund the product price plus the cost of our cheapest standard UK delivery if you return the whole order. Any paid upgrade (e.g., express) isn’t refunded.
- Faulty/damaged: if confirmed, we’ll cover reasonable return postage or provide a label and refund you in full.
- Refunds are made to the original payment method / payer’s account once we receive and inspect the return (allow 3–10 business days for your bank to process).
Damaged or faulty items
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can investigate with the courier. Where a fault is confirmed, you may choose a replacement or full refund (within 30 days of delivery). After 30 days, we will repair or replace first.
Exceptions (not cancellable under UK law)
- Made-to-order / personalised items (e.g., custom-made blankets once production has started), unless faulty.
- Downloadable digital files and gift cards.
Returns address
We’re an online-only business. To prevent lost parcels, please do not send returns without an RMA. We’ll provide the correct returns hub address in your approval email.
Proof of purchase
Please include your order confirmation email or order number inside the parcel.
